Tips to encourage active play:

  • Take a walk with your child
  • Walk or Bike with your child to and from school
  • Play in the park
  • Ride tricycles or bikes
  • Swim
  • Play ball
  • Run and skip
  • Dance to music
  • Jump and hop
  • Set aside “family exercise time”
