What is WIC?
South Dakota WIC is a health and nutrition program that offers food, education, and support for those who are or have:
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding a child under age 1
- Delivered a baby within the past 6 months
- A child under age 5
It’s free for all South Dakota families who qualify. Mothers, fathers, and legal guardians can all sign their child up for WIC.
